Day 120: Could it be?
Yes, it's a genuine Zhu Zhu pet! My nieces and nephew were lucky enough to get one hamster each for Christmas (two from Santa and one from Aunt Gigi). They also got the hamster house and a carrier. This is Chunk, who is being fed a piece of bread by my sister.
I can't figure out why they are the hot toy, but I suppose I could say the same about Cabbage Patch Kids (which I loved but now find VERY creepy). The Zhu Zhu pets are kind of cute, though.
Are they really as huge a deal as the news folks make it seem? I find them a teeny bit creepy, to be honest.
