Day 303: Calm before the storm

He looks very calm now, but I predict he'll be squealing for food in about an hour.

Day 302: Aunt Anita is here!

My sister arrived late Friday and is staying with us for a whole week!

Day 301: Brunch at Atticus

I had my 2 week doctor's appointment and afterward, we went to Atticus for some brunch.

Day 300: More car trips

We went on some errands today. A day when we get out of the house is a good day!

Day 299: Trip to the cafe

We took A for a walk as he had to go to the pediatrician's office. We stopped at Cafe Romeo for a drink on the way.

Day 298: Sleeping again

He does sleep a lot.

Day 297: Peaceful

He is really a very peaceful baby most of the time.

Day 296: Happy Father's Day

Today was S's first Father's Day...A and I gave him cards and a present.

Day 295: Little foot

His feet are very small!

Day 294: A trip to the beach

We took a small excursion today to Lighthouse Point Park, which is the closest beach to our house. A did very well and slept the whole time.

He's very sweet, particularly when he's about to fall asleep.

It feels like my meals are all interrupted now that A has arrived. Here is lunch.

Day 290: First visit to the pediatrician

Baby went to the doctor today, and all was well. He has gained plenty of weight, has grown longer, and is generally the picture of health. We made it through the first week!

Day 289: Visitor

We had a nice visit from S's friend Mary Alice, who very kindly brought us homemade soup and bread.

Day 288: Maternity pay approved

My notice came in that my application for short-term disability pay has been approved. Thanks to A needing to arrive via c-section, I get an extra two weeks of pay.

S thinks that A looks like a mini Jacques Cousteau in this one.

...our life has changed. Anand was born at 1:14 P.M. on June 7, 2010.

Day 282: Weekend shopping

This weekend, we bought a new memory card for the camera to make sure we had enough storage space for photos of the little one.

Day 281: Gift from Amherst

This was our gift for donating money to Amherst. I would like to note that my alma mater gave this decal out for free!

Day 280: Gift from HK

During our meeting in Hong Kong, we were shown a porcelain plate that we'd be receiving at our homes as a souvenir of our trip. Mine arrived yesterday while I was in Boston. It's really lovely! I'm not sure where to display it...maybe in my office.

Day 279: Beantown

A last-minute trip (my last work trip, yay!). It was a beautiful day to be in Boston.

Day 278: K of C

I work very close to the Knights of Columbus museum and they are putting on this exhibit. I think my mom should go check it out when she comes to visit.

Day 277: Reunion gifts

This was the gift we received from reunion over the weekend. They gave us each one, even though only one of us is Amherst College Class of 1995!
