Day 245: Wentworth's
One of our favorite ice cream places in the area is Wentworth's. We took a late night trip out there to celebrate the warm weather.

Day 241: The nest
We may not have the crib mattress just yet, but at least baby has a place to sleep. This is his bassinet that just arrived today. It sits next to the bed so that we can keep an eye on him and also so that we don't have to get up to comfort him in the middle of the night. I think we will get a lot of use out of it, at least until he outgrows it!

Day 240: Loading up for the drive home
Mira had to go home so S helped her load the car (I was not allowed to carry anything!). I already miss her!

Day 239: Baby shower #2
We had our New Haven baby shower and it was a big success. My cousin Mira, S, and I did a lot of prep and I think everything turned out really well. It was great to celebrate with our family and friends.

Day 235: Spring is here
We have noticed so many lovely flowers coming up lately. Although it's not consistently warm just yet, it is definitely spring. These tulips are up in our backyard.

Day 234: One more
Another mug for my collection! They are threatening to overrun our cupboard at this rate. Good thing the little guy will be putting an end to travelling for a while.

Day 233: Home again
Yay, I've safely reached home and am feeling good. S took me out to breakfast to celebrate being home again.

Day 231: 7-Eleven
I really did not expect to see a 7-Eleven in Hong Kong! One of the sights I saw on my one trip out of the hotel.

Day 229: I made it!
Arrived without any problems into Hong Kong. I have never been here before but unfortunately, due to my quick trip, I don't think I'll get much of a chance to do anything interesting.

Day 228: Flight to Hong Kong
Hong Kong is my last big trip before baby arrives. I was fortunate enough to travel in first class, which was much appreciated for a 16-hour, non-stop flight. This is me relaxing and watching movies.

Day 227: Car wash
Our car was in desperate need of a wash, so we went after work and got it cleaned. Yay for a shiny car!

Day 225: The shower
We had a wonderful time at our baby shower. Lots of great friends, family, food, and fun. It was a lot of work, but I think it was a big success.

Day 224: 3D
We went and had a 3-D ultrasound done of the little guy. He had his hands covering his face for most of it, but we managed to get a few shots in the end. He was moving a bit and even yawned and smiled for us. He looks very happy and comfortable in there!

Day 223: Cherry blossom time
It's a beautiful time to be in New Haven as the cherry blossoms have bloomed! We took an extra fifteen minutes before going to the airport to get a good look at them.

Day 222: Painting completed!
The painters were in and they painted the little guy's room! I'm so happy it's done. It is a big improvement!

Day 221: Sweet
This is a photo taken surreptitiously from my spare bedroom. It's a photo of our neighbors having dinner by candlelight in their sun porch. They have dinner in there nearly every night now that it's lighter in the early evenings. Such a sweet thing to do!

Day 219: Happy Easter
We drove down to Hyannis to go to Easter mass. Saint Francis Xavier was the church where the Kennedys attended mass.

Day 218: Plane ride
Since most of the Cape was still closed for the season, we weren't quite sure what to do with ourselves. But we found out we could take a one-hour plane ride up the coast and back again. The plane was a Cessna 172 which seats FOUR. Very small! But it was really cool. There were loads of good photos, but here is one showing the very tip of the Cape.

Day 217: Happy anniversary
We had Japanese for our anniversary dinner. S got a really nice veg bento box. We were very impressed as it's quite tough to find nice vegetarian food on the Cape.
