Day 252: Baby shower #3

My lovely coworkers gave me a surprise baby shower this morning! It was very sweet of them. S even came which was a big surprise, as did my friend Sandra who brought her 3-month old. Here is the little cake they gave me. I haven't tried it yet but I bet it's good.

Day 251: Sign

I saw this sign a few days ago and couldn't read it as it was too far away. But today I finally was next to it and had time to get a photo. I guess it did the job because I didn't even know there was a tax increase being proposed. It's a property tax increase.

Day 250: Baby

We had our first class tonight in preparation for baby's arrival. Here is our practice baby. She's scary!

Day 249: Party at Annu's

Our friend Annu invited us over for dinner...it was a nice way to spend a Tuesday evening! Many of our friends are leaving New Haven at the end of the month or the end of the summer as the school year is nearly over. I'm glad we're getting the chance to see them before everyone departs.

Day 248: Rain, rain

After the gorgeously warm and sunny weekend we had, we awoke to grey and rain. Lots of rain. So much rain.
